For the Clinical Data Science Department of R&D in Leiderdorp, the Netherlands, we are looking for a Project Biostatistician.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Act as a Local/Global Project Statistician
• Contribute to the clinical development plan of the project
• Lead all statistical aspects of assigned studies: design planning and reporting
• Assist Associate Biostatistics Director in more complex/high profile projects
• Interact with peers in Astellas Japan and US for assigned projects

Your personal qualifications:

• Academic qualification in Statistics
• Sound knowledge of current industry practices related to statistical analysis of clinical data
• Advanced knowledge of base SAS & SAS/STAT programming
• Good understanding of drug development process and ability to see the overall picture
• At least 3 years of experience in applying statistical methods in biomedical research
• Pharmaceutical or CRO industry experience
• Good personal skills in communication, teamwork, etc.
