Medical Scientific Liaison
Position Name: Medical Scientific Liaison

Purpose of the position To build scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals and decision makers in therapeutic areas relevant to APCL, specifically anti-infectives and transplantation and develop the required level of advocacy for our products. To strategically prepare and support the development, launch and commercialisation of products through medical information sharing, education of the scientific community and KOL's, clinical trial support and by scientific exchange seeking external insight to shape commercial and development programmes.

Purpose of the position To lead and develop the Medical Department of Astellas Pharma Ireland. To ensure all Market Authorisation Holder responsibilities are met. To initiate and control clinical trails of pharmaceutical products, and provide advice on any matter related to the medical aspects of such products To ensure full compliance of the affiliate with local internal policies and those of Astellas Europe To provide all necessary medical & regulatory support to optimize the commercial and business activities of the Irish affiliate including KOL development, Health Economics and Market Access
